Reverse engineering for composites
No drawings? No problem. We start from the existing part, rebuild it digitally and turn it into a carbon fiber component that is ready to produce.

01Overview
Overview
Reverse engineering is often the fastest route to replace a heavy metal or plastic part with carbon fiber, or to reproduce a component that is no longer available.
We combine 3D scanning, CAD modeling and composite design, then build the tooling and manufacture the part in-house.
02Process
Reverse Engineering
Step 01
Scan
The original part and its interfaces are captured in 3D.
Step 02
Reconstruct
A clean CAD model is built from the scan data.
Step 03
Redesign
The design is adapted for composite manufacturing and your load case.
Step 04
Produce
Molds are made and parts are produced and trimmed.
03Applications
Applications
- Carbon replacements for metal or plastic parts
- Discontinued or legacy components
- Automotive and motorsport parts
- Industrial equipment covers and brackets
