Composite manufacturing
Custom carbon sandwich panels with integrated inserts
Custom panel geometry, carbon fiber skins and PMI or honeycomb cores, with integrated inserts and local reinforcement where fasteners and joints transfer load. Core, laminate and mounting details are selected for the requirements of each application.
- Cores
- PMI foam, Nomex honeycomb, aluminum honeycomb
- Panel weight
- Defined by core density, panel thickness, laminate and inserts
- Skins
- Carbon, aramid, glass or hybrid

01Overview
Overview
Every panel is tailored to its structural and design requirements. Reinforced inserts can be integrated at load-bearing points such as bolt holes, slots and mechanical joints, for better load distribution and long-term stability.
Panels are trimmed by CNC machining or waterjet cutting, with edge finishing and insert details selected for the application — ready for installation or further processing.
02Process
Sandwich Panels
Step 01
Core selection
PMI foam, Nomex or aluminum honeycomb, chosen for the load case.
Step 02
Insert design
Reinforcements are placed where fasteners and joints carry load.
Step 03
Infusion & bonding
Skins and core are laminated and bonded under vacuum.
Step 04
Trimming
Waterjet or CNC trimming to final contour.
03Applications
Applications
- UAV fuselages, wings, frames and electronic mounts
- Aerospace interior and structural panels
- Marine decks and yacht structures
